Our First Day in Wuhan

Last night was a terrible night. It was so hot in our rooms, that we could hardly sleep. There was something wrong with the air condition that pumped only warm air into our rooms, even though we had it on 10 degrees C only. The hotel stuff told us today they fixed the air condition, so we will see....

After we finally fall asleep we slept so good and long that we almost came to late for breakfast. We had only 10 minutes to enjoy all the wonderful dishes before they Hotel crew started to take it away.....

In the afternoon our guide Grant took us to the most famous place in Wuhan, the Yellow Crane Tower. It was amazing to see this building from the inside. We took lots of photos. At the same time there where many Chinese people who where enourmously interested in taking lots of photos us, mainly Carina and Max. Maybe because of their blond hair? Everybody here thinks Max, with his long blond hair, is a girl anyway.

After sightseeing we went into a shopping mall. Max got a new jacket . Here we have approx 17 degrees C at daytime and we were mainly prepared for the Beijing winter, so all of us need to buy thinner cloths. I also bought some presents for the caretakers of Yasmin and 4 packages of diapers for the orphanage.

Carina and I also went to a supermarket and looked at the variety of meat they had there , like big fat living frogs, living turtles or dried seahorses and salamanders. Yummi.....

Now we are back the hotel and ready for dinner and a swim in the pool afterwards.

My sister will try and uploade some of the pictures we made later today.
